The eyes are arguably the most magical part of the human body.
Irreplaceable you might say, since doctors still don’t have a way to successfully transplant an eyeball.
But our eyes do more than take in the beauty that surrounds us.
They function as the figurative time machine of our mind.
As we look through old photo albums, we mull over treasured memories in our past. We also cringe at the bowl cut our mom gave us in 2nd grade…
Driving to work in the morning, our eyes can see beyond the regular commute route to enjoy the moment. Take a deep breath before the day begins. Notice the flowers beginning to grow alongside the road.
Our eyes also peer into the future, dreaming up magical ideas and visions of what life holds for us.
The past, present, and future. Our eyes are trained to look at time in all of these ways.
So set your sights on something that motivates, encourages, and inspires you. Take in the majesty that is all around, capture it, or dream about what it could be.
