Write-Up Monday: Open Submissions

We have decided to open the TechnoModeration.com blog for anyone in the world who wants to contribute to the cause of using computer technology in moderation. We believe that is critical to feature external guest blog articles that complements the work done by Dr. Almeida and other Techno Moderation researchers.

So, what are we looking for in submissions? We want to see articles that connect technology to societal issues featuring both positive and negative effects. They must be written in commentary format. We are not looking for book reviews or short fiction pieces. Selected articles are to be published in our blog every Monday, pending on approval from the editors.

  • Articles on the connection between technology and society featuring both positive and negative effects. We are looking for articles with an exactly count of 700 words.
  • Articles must be submitted for publication Wednesday by midnight for consideration. There is no guarantee that submitted works will be selected for publication.
  • We are only going to consider articles written in English and that have been grammatically proofed and revised.
  • Guest bloggers might benefit from referring to the following technomoderation related books:
    • Rise of the Robots: Technology and the Threat of a Jobless Future

    • Becoming A Brand: The Rise Of Technomoderation

    • Understanding Media: Extensions of Man
    • Alone Together

Send all inquiries to: lca120@gmail.com.

The technomoderation.com website is a two people operation so we can’t guarantee that we will be getting to your work in a timely manner but we promise to read your piece and seriously consider the piece for publication.  If we decide to reject the article, we shall provide a reason for it.

If you have any other questions, feel free to contact us. Thank you.
